Senior HR Specialist

We’re growing and looking to add a Senior Operation Specialist to our People Ops team. This is a full-time position based out of our Shenzhen office.

Responsibilities:

  • People Operations 
    • Lead and successfully execute projects on behalf of, or in partnership with, other team members in areas such as company activities and events, analytics, process improvement, transformation, program enhancements or new program launches, organizational change, information management, HRIS and communications. 
    • Resolving and highlighting issues and risk to HR operations delivery. 
    • Be the point of contact for talents and culture-related questions and inquiries from employees and managers. Escalate more complex situations to other talents and culture domain experts and business partners as appropriate. 
    • Support and promote a learning culture and dynamic that continuously cross-trains and transfers knowledge between team members. 
    • Proactively seek out opportunities to develop professionally and improve team/ department effectiveness (i.e., do not wait to be invited) 
    • Contribute to a great working environment to support company growth. 
    • Provide support to employees and managers through talents and culture processes. As a central resource with a unique cross-team view of activities and repetitive work practices, continually scan for and surface inefficiencies and opportunities to streamline or transform processes across the organization. 
    • Ensure updates to policy, process and best practice are understood and implemented effectively by the People Operation team. 
  • Office Operations 
    • Serve as the point person with landlord, maintenance company, local law firm and vendors for all facilities issues; 
    • Arrange and implement the processing of relative documents for legalization of foreign employees in PRC, including coordination with local authorities, applying for visa, working permit etc. 
    • Build a positive rapport with colleagues to be able to take part ownership in a high energy, can do business atmosphere in the office. 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR field, preferable in MNC.
  • Previous work experience in IT/Software, hospitality, client services or other kinds of supporting function; with comprehensive understanding of group process, policy and best practice
  • Proven track record of coordination, execution and managing of complex internal processes; Proven track record of taking the responsibility of running an office, preferably in a dynamic and international environment.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, behave professionally, and proactively take responsibility.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or on an independent basis.
  • Demonstration of a high level of discretion and candor relating to sensitive or confidential information.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems on a strategic level.
  • Eye for details, problem solver, flexible and good team player. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, positive work attitude and responsible, comfortable with project management. 
  • Excellent communication skills, excellent oral and written English language skill and high emotional intelligence.
